iTAG XB40 Intrinsically Safe BLE, Wirepas and Quuppa Anchor

The iTAG XB40 is an Intrinsically safe BLE tag for tracking large assets or as a location anchor for BLE based Real Time Location System (RTLS). The iTAG XB40 is compact and battery powered, making it ideally suited for areas where large infrastructure devices are cost prohibitive or difficult to install. Suitable for Zone 0/ Zone 20 and Division 1 hazardous areas, the iTAG xB40 is the perfect for hazardous area applications. Available in iBeacon/ Eddystone, Wirepas and Quuppa tag options.

The iTAG XB40 can be used as part of a standalone BLE RTLS or as part of a hybrid system, such as the iTAG X-Range of RTLS tags that use mutiple technologies for increased accuracy and site wide visibility. The iTAG XB40 can be used to trilaterate the position of the iTAG X-Range tag to increase the location accuracy, without adding additional APs/Gateways for example. The iTAG XB40 also has a long battery life of up to 5 years making it an ideal solution for areas where direct power is not available.
