The EXgate® series of enclosures are stainless steel as standard and are designed to meet the harsh environments of the North Sea. EXgate® is ideal for Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical and Marine applications aswell as for all kind of industry where an explosive atmosphere may be present.
Fully certified for hazardous areas
The EXgate® comes complete with all the ATEX and IECEx certification needed for installation in hazardous areas. You don’t need additional certification, no matter which wireless technology you choose.
Your choice of connection method
The connection is made through direct entry cable glands, indirect via Exe junction box or with CAT compliant Ex d connector.
Easy installation and low maintenance
Weighing in at only 8kg, the EXgate®215 is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre in a variety of locations. With integrated mounting flanges, it’s simple to install on flat surfaces. A pole mount bracket is also available.
The EXgate® external Ex e junction box (optional) puts practicality are the forefront, allowing the use of simple Ex e glands. It contains all the connectors you’ll need for your required specification, such as Ethernet terminals, mains power, and fibre options.
EXgate® Ex d enclosures allow for utilization of standard electrical components. Subsequent replacement and maintenance of installed components is thus easy.
