It is necessary to perform an engineering assessment of the device to ensure compatibility with the Extronics iWAP range of hazardous area wireless enclosures. The below list defines each device suitability with our iWAP107 and iWAP XN3 enclosures. A definition of terms has also been provided.

All information detailed within this list is indicative and not intended to be a guarantee of suitability.  Extronics may amend this list in line with changing technology, certification, or internal policy/procedural requirements and engineering best practice. Depending on your requirements, not all options/features may be available on select devices – please contact Extronics for a more detailed review of any specific requirements that you may have.

Y: The wireless device in question has been successfully assessed and deployed in the hazardous area as part of an iWAP107 or iWAPXN3 – the are no non-refundable engineering charges in such instances regardless of the configuration chosen. Extronics can confirm with full confidence that the device can be compliantly installed in the hazardous area as a component in one of our iWAP products.

CPG: Configured Products Group (CPG) is a status given to a device where we require more information about the application before we can provide a quote. For example, a device may be fine for some applications, not others, or because the North American status needs further investigation.
