Our Zone 2 wireless access point enclosure system, the iWAP202, is now available with the latest Cisco Aironet 3802e access points as a standard option. We’re regularly looking at how to improve our product range to keep our customers up-to-date with advances in technology, and the related improvements in functionality and reliability. We decided that with the rise of 802.11ac Wave 2 technology in wireless networking deployments, we would invest to provide this capability to our customers. The first of these iWAP202s with Cisco 3802e access points, 66 off, are currently in build at Extronics HQ, and will be on their way to the Ekofisk oil field off the Norwegian coast. This project has also involved our partner Norex.
