This builds on our previous ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, and is part of our program of continuous improvement to ensure we’re delivering high quality to our customers. The International Organization for Standardization defines the ISO 9001:2015 standard. By fulfilling these externally-set requirements, Extronics demonstrates that we consistently provide products and services that comply with customer and regulatory requirements. Customer care, integrity, and accountability are part of Extronics’ core values, so it’s important to us that we meet these certification requirements. On the back of our most successful year to date, Extronics is pleased to announce another significant worker safety solution sale to a customer in the Oil & Gas industry. After seeing great results from an existing deployment of the Extronics worker safety solution, our customer wants to monitor their workers in real time and automatically muster them in case of emergency. To reduce the amount of equipment each worker has to carry, our engineers developed an enhanced version of our proven iTAG100 RFID tag to incorporate photo ID and EV1 access control capability, providing unique all-in-one functionality.
