Operations Administrator

Careers

We are an award-winning organisation and have recently become part of the BARTEC Group which will enable us to expand our operation in Cheshire and expedite our sales globally. In turn this provides our employees with opportunities to grow and develop.

We are now looking for a super organised Administrator who may have previously worked in an operations/sales office or perhaps from a PA/EA background and wants to expand their skills. We have a culture that is based around teamwork and having fun, with strong internal relationships and collaboration at the heart of what we do.

We offer flexible working as standard with this role which not only gives you the chance to start and finish your working day around your own commitments but also the chance to work up to three days per week from home; we leave the decision around hybrid working down to the individual and how they prefer to work.

We have a modern office space, offer 26 days holiday, pension, flexitime, holiday purchase scheme, retail discount scheme, 24/7 access to a private GP…the list goes on.

The role itself provides admin support to the operations team, with a specific focus on streamlining the sales and operations process with the customer experience at the heart of what we do, so you would have lots of contact with our internal sales team too.

Day to day you would be order processing (which is more complex in our industry than it sounds!), and being the primary point of contact for the customer and their order support / progress updates. Therefore it’s important that you are a great communicator and customer centric.

Invoicing customers once orders have shipped would be a critical part of this role – if we don’t send the invoice then we don’t get paid, so you would also work closely with our Finance Assistant too.

Outside of the day to day there are lots of projects to get involved in, with the main focus around quality and continuous improvement. You will be confident in questioning processes and putting forward your ideas on how we can make things better.

It doesn’t matter if some of these areas aren’t familiar to you, we can provide training, indeed it will be essential for anyone joining our organisation given the niche nature of what we do so please don’t let the terminology used on our websites put you off applying!

If you are looking for a busy role, and have a willingness to learn and where you are unlikely to look at the clock once during your working day, we would be interested in seeing your CV ASAP!
