The Magnet-Ex12 is designed to detect magnetic fields in hazardous areas. Within seconds it is possible to determine whether a solenoid valve is electrically activated or not. The highly sensitive probe of the Magnet-Ex12 needs only to be brought near the coil of a solenoid valve

In the same manner test's can be carried out on flow meters or any other equipment that is working magnetically, such as locating pipe-cleaning pigs, even when located in a hazardous area. The Magnet-Ex12 comes with a test magnet that is fitted to casing in such a way that one can't lose it easily. With this magnet the instrument and batteries can be checked for correct operation.
