The iTAG500 range of intrinsically safe, passive UHF RFID tags represents a breakthrough in asset tracking for hazardous areas. Developed in partnership with Omni-ID®, the new range utilises Omni-ID's unique patented plasmonic structure which produces market - leading performance.
iTAG500 tags are certified intrinsically safe to ATEX & IECEx standards - see individual datasheets for full certification details. The range comprises a wide variety of tags, each with different attributes suitable for a wide variety of hazardous area applications.
Prox® - Short range - up to 3m, low cost tag available in either label or rigid case format. Prox tags are ideally suited for asset tracking and management of small high-value assets
Flex® - Medium range - up to 5m, available in either label or rigid case format. The Flex tag's mid-range read distance and compact form factor is convenient for asset tracking and work-in-process applications
Max® - Long range - up to 12m, available in either label or rigid case format. Max tags provide the flexibility of a longer read range while maintaining a smaller tag footprint.
Curv® - Medium range tag - up to 6m, which is small and flexible for attachment to many sizes and shapes of curved surfaces e.g. gas cylinders, chemical drums etc. Its durable, thermal plastic rubber encasement extends the life of the tag, and withstands rough handling and environmental exposure
Max SQ - Long range - up to 8m, with global functionality, robust construction, and outstanding performance-to-size ratio. Ideal for applications that require durability and long read range, with limited surface area.
Max HD - Long range - up to 15m , the Max HD is an extremely durable and high performing tag offers excellent read ranges globally. Ideal for the most challenging asset tracking and management applications
Ultra® - Very long range - up to 35m. With its breakthrough read distance, the Ultra passive UHF RFID tag provides a more affordable solution for applications which previously required active tags e.g. automotive tracking, military asset tracking etc.
