Via VGA / keyboard / mouse interfaces a PC in the safe area provides all relevant data for the on-site operation in the plant.

Via the high-performance CHALLENGER transmission unit the data will be transferred up to 500m (1700 ft.) to the on-site terminal in the plant.

The CHALLENGER Dust terminal is manufactured according to II3D, which is used for operating and visualising purposes. It may be installed in zone 22.  The terminal is specified for the temperature classes T80°C for 3D (dust). The case is designed and tested according to IP 6x. The environment temperature range is -10°C to +50°C.
