The Ex-Point 02 laser beam pointer is a handy size device ideal for highlighting objects whilst in an Ex-hazardous area. Inaccessible and moving parts on plant and machinery can be identified safely during inspections without interruption of the process or endangering personnel. Operation is simple -pressing a button produces a bright illuminated point, which is visible over long distance. For example, pipe work can be then highlighted to show an installation crew where the object to be replaced or repaired is located. With a robust metal housing in a handy pen size with retaining clip, the Ex-Point 02 is easily carried in a shirt or in a shirt or coat pocket.

The laser pointer is also certified for use in dust-Ex areas zoned as 22 and 21. Power is supplied from 2 x LR06 (AAA) type-approved batteries.
