The 8146 Glass Fibre Reinforced Polyester enclosure system allows complex control stations to be custom built to suit you particular application. Enclosures can be flanged together to form complete units of any size or shape. Internal brass earth continuity plates may be specified, drilled and tapped to suit your glanding. Removable GRP gland plates are also possible, with or without internal brass plate, to facilitate provision of entries on site. Operators from the 8030/8040 range are used, together with other encapsulated Exd components.

3 Alternative Alarm Stations Available. 8146/5052-C796, Mushroom stay-put button with manual contact. Continues alarm by pressing automatically locking alarm button. 8146/5052-C797. Mushroom stay-put key release with manual contact. Continuous alarm by pressing automatically locking alarm button. 8146/5052-C814. Automatic contact as alarm button springs out when glass window broken. An 8208 resistance module can be retro-circuit and monitor for open-circuit.
